Armagnac Baron d’Artigues
Situated in the South West of France in the Gers in the little village of Nogaro, it is oldest firm in Armagnac, and is now run by Francoise and Jean-Pierre Dartigalongue. There is an impressive museum worth as visit. Armagnac is mostly made a grape called with Ugni Blanc. Armagnac is distilled only once unlike Cognac, and is aged in a different wood, therefore more rustic and fuller than Cognac.
