A father and son partnership - Buytet pere et fils - look after this vineyard, which has been a family Domaine for many generations. They produce a stylish Graves blanc made with Sauvignon and Sémillon grapes, whilst fascinating reds are made with Merlot and Cabernet-Sauvignon grapes.Jean Buytet (pere) is still highly active in the business, and used to be a racing cyclist of some repute, participating in many races with Jacques Anquetil, a well-known rider from the ‘fifties and ‘sixties. The lady who is now his wife was the girl who officially kissed the winners - but, says Jean: "She never kissed me as I never won a race!"
