A dry and fruity wine - Well balanced and with a nice fresh acidulous taste.
An interesting complex taste of apple, pear and lime and minerals with a long persistent lasting taste.
Chateau La Calisse
Located in the Provence region, this organic vineyard is maintained with panache and dedication by the charismatic Patricia Ortelli. The whole estate was acquired and renovated in the early ‘nineties, and is now a leading estate in Provence. The yearly production is small and the wines are much sought after, with distinguished clients such as the French Government, the Carlton Hotel in Cannes and 3-star Michelin Restaurants!
Chateau de Fontcreuse
The eighteenth century Château is located on stunning historical grounds in the southern French Riviera commune of Cassis, Provence. This beautiful, history laden, 28 hectare estate is owned by Jean-François Brando who is keen to produce wines with passion, upholding the estate’s rich tradition, whilst expressing the terroir of the region.
Domaine de la Garenne
Just situated to the north of Bandol near the village of La Cadière you will find the Domaine de la Garenne. Resting in the Saint Côme Valley, the estate was originally owned by Maître Braquéty, an avid hunter of rabbits who bought the wooded area to fuel his hobby, around 200 years ago. His heirs however, not necessarily sharing his passions, purchased the neighbouring land and in 1941, when Bandol gained its appellation status, planted the first vines of Mourvèdre, Grenache and Cinsault. Covering a total of 22 hectares within the appellation the vineyards were worked until its first vinification in 1965.
