Tasting Notes

The characteristic of this wine is the palate, quite firm and solid, bringing out very fine tannins wrapped with pretty fruits. Aromas of blackberry and gooseberry blossoming into a beautiful amplitude that makes the finale particularly persistent.

Domaine Coste-Caumartin

The Estate remained in the family, passing down through the hands of the women of the family: the Coste, Debrois, Chenot, then the Sordet families succeeded each other until this day. The Domaine is now under the direction of Jérôme and Benoît Sordet. Under Jérôme and Benoît Sordet’s able direction, the Domaine continues to thrive with the implementation of new innovative wine-making practices balancing traditional Burgundian techniques, with modern practices.

Today, the Estate extends over an area of 12 hectares, producing around 65,000 bottles per year- the wines of which continue to receive medals and accolades. A testament to the producers’ expertise and wine making passion.
