Chenas
The Chénas Appellation is located in northern Beaujolais, in between the borders of Julienas and Moulin-a-Vent and produces red wines, known for the heavy body and floral notes. Made up of approximately 290 hectares, Chénas exclusively harvests the Gamay grape, alike most of the Beaujolais region.

Chénas: Domaine Matray Futs de CheneMuch sought after, Chénas, the rarest of the Beaujolais Crus, is a generous cellaring wine with a wonderfully soft mouthfeel. The robe is ruby with garnet tints; the aromas are floral with peony at the fore. This cuvée was matured in barrels for 8 months and sets itself apart with its finesse and complexity.
