Organic Wine
These wines that have been grown in accordance to principles of organic farming, which involves no unnatural additions to aid the growth of the crops. However, these wines are not necessarily vegan or vegetarian. Organic wines hold the promise of less sulfites, no pesticides, containing no added sugar. Normal non-organic wines can contain many different chemicals or additives to help form it. Although organic wines can contain natural additives they are thought to hold better health benefits for the consumer.
Natural wines, in comparison are not stipulated by an sort of law but do follow similar guidelines, such as no use of chemicals or unnatural products. However, both are thought beneficial to the consumer and the environment.
Organic produce is becoming increasingly popular, so we have sourced out some of our favourites for you to try.
To find out which wines are organic, see the logos below. If you see these logos on your bottle of wine, it is 'Agriculturae Biologique' or organic certified.

Muscat de Rivesaltes: Domaine BoudauFortified resulting in the tastiest and most appealing sweet wine made in the Roussillon, close to Perpignan. Nose with aromas of lemon, lemongrass, limoncello. The palate is fresh, tangy while retaining the deliciousness of the Muscat grain. The sweet aspect is easily forgotten as its taste is so compelling. A real pleasure.
