Muscadelle

Muscadelle hails from Bordeaux, used in the production of both the sweet wines of Sauternes and the dry whites of Blaye or Entre deux Mers.

Small parcels are also to be found in Graves, where its fruitiness is a welcome addition. Sadly, in recent times the grape has fallen out of favour when compared to Sauvignon and Semillon.
