Cadillac Appellation

The Cadillac wine appellation soley produces sweet white wine, and takes its name from the town of Cadillac. This appellation is made up of over 320 acres, and mainly grows the Semillon vines, with few Sauvignon and Muscadelle vines. Cadillac gained its AOC status in 1973, which requires the grapes to be harvested by hand.
