Morgon

Morgon is a very large cru, second only to Brouilly, and one of the most distinctive in terms of soil and savour, which allows the Gamay grape to be cultivated in a variety of ways.

Centred around the villages of Morgon and Villié-Morgon, it is home to over 250 producers. The characteristics of a Morgon are defined by its powerful, robust, and fleshy structure, with aromas of cherry, plum, and kirsch.
