Pierre Hourlier Wines

Morgon is a very large cru, second only to Brouilly, and is one the most distinctive in terms of soil and savour, which allows the Gamay grape to be cultivated in a variety of ways. Centred around the villages of Morgon and Ville-Morgon, over 250 producers are located here. The characteristics of a Morgon are defined by it's powerful, robust and fleshy structure, with aromas of peach, plum and apricot.

Domaine Dubost produce a very small quantity of Morgon over three quarters of a hectare to the east of Villie-Morgon itself, and it is found in France's top gastronomic restaurants.
