Ugni Blanc
Ugni Blanc (also known as Trebbiano) is a white wine grape originally from Italy, however is very popular in the production of cognac and armagnac. These vines create a high yield of simple and refreshing wine, mainly used for blending with other grape varieties.
These grapes are high in acidity, low in sugar and can produce light, crisp and relatively neutral tasting wines. The best food pairings are, sardines, savoury pancakes and crayfish.
