Roussanne
The Roussanne white grape variety, originated from the Rhone Valley in France. This grape is often used as a blending grape with Marsanne. The name 'Roussanne' comes from its 'Roux' coloured skin, once the berries are ripe. The grapes contributes fruity aromas of lime and blossom, and normally high in acidity. The recommended food pairings for this grape include; Poached egg, crab, and smoked fish.
