Margaux
The Margaux appellation gained official AOC status in 1936, and is located within Haut-Médoc in Bordeaux, which holds the villages of Cantenac, Arsac, Soussans and Labarde. The main vine grown here is the Cabernet Sauvignon grape, with dominant flavours of blackcurrant.
