Lower Alcohol Wines
Our lower alcohol wines contain 12.5% ABV or less, but traditionally low alcohol wines are below 10% ABV. Our lowest ABV wines are at 11.5% from Domaine Horgelus. The alcoholic levels can be affected by many things, including climate which the vines are growing in, the grape variety or ageing of the wines. Distillation and a higher percentage of lees (mainly in champagne and sparkling wine) create a lower alcohol level in the wines.
