Mourvèdre

Chateau Guery named this cuvée “Grés” because they believe it strongly expresses the soil that nourishes it. With a dominance of Grenache blended with Syrah and Mourvèdre, it will surprise you with its coverage and complexity.

Aromatic nose with notes of ripe red fruits, peach and pomelo. On the palate, round and tonic, with a tart aftertaste.

Aromas of exotic fruits, hints of small red fruit. Good balance and persistent on the palate. Great match with salad.

An explosion of ripe succulent wild forest fruit, pomegranate, plum and blueberry, leading to deep notes of spice and smooth fresh leather. On the palate there is a sensation of fresh cool evenings and opulent sunshine! Deep ruby colour; high tones of fresh young cassis, and wild thyme finishing with hints of fresh ground white pepper and clean flinty notes.

Fruity wine with a good length in the mouth.

The last grape harvested by the Chateau, producing this full bodied tannic wine.

Nose of red and strawberries, fresh and concentrated, beautiful balanced palate.

The nose is concentrated and subtle opening up with aromas of red fruits enhanced by mineral notes of smoked clay (schist). It evolves towards notes of chocolate and liquorice. The mid-palate is orchestrated by a schist minerality which gives fruity volume. This wine expresses aromatic and tactile nuances that continue to develop over time.

Majority of Grenache, a true 'raspberry' wine and taste on the palate.

Declassified Chateauneuf du Pape - Smooth and round with a long finish.

A classic Southern Rhone blend, developing sweet peppery, blackberry, and cassis flavour, with dried Garrigue herb-sentence bouquet. The texture is supple, and the wine is pure. A well-balanced, rounded, moderately tannic wine, with good underlying acidity, and harmonious finish.

Made exclusively from old vines of Grenache and Mourvèdre, the wine is rich, powerful and full-bodied. A mineral, tense and very lingering finish.

Expressive nose with notes of juniper, cloves, nutmeg, bramble and cayenne pepper. Well balanced in mouth with fine tannins.

Very beautiful and complex, this wine speaks of garrigue and candied fruits, the nose evoking blueberry tart. The very well-balanced palate expresses itself with spice, rosemary and cistus with a touch of mocha and tonka bean. This aromatic depth is evident on the palate with a beautiful panache, framed by present tannins and tonic acidity, all well integrated. The finish leaves a tasty and velvety impression.

The sweetness and sensuality of Syrah and the precise mineral acidity of Mourvèdre gives this wine a beautiful aromatic complexity. The quality of the fine and mature tannins creates a delicate and exuberant bouquet at the same time.

A blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre. Red fruit flavours with great depth.

Made with over 50 years old Grenache vines and with some Syrah, Mourvedre and a little Carignan. Lengthy taste of fruits and spice, rounded and structured with soft tannins. Magnificent taste, still a couple of years to reach its best. Drink it now but decant it first.

Respecting the traditional style of Collioure and with its delicate farming in tapered tanks, Magenca is delicate and elegant with tannins present but melted.

Spiced ripe cassis with hints of wild moorland and warm saddle leather, which leads to a mixture of ripe dark forest fruit with hints of opulent spiced tones. The finish is long and enchanting.

Dark fruit and spicy aromas. Full and rounded with supple tannins, matured during 12 months in oak from Troncay. A wine with a strong personality, deep, complex and elegant.
