"We do not inherit the land from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children", it is on this quote attributed to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry that a new page opens at the Domaine de Campaucels. After Cathy's installation in 1997, 25 years later, Clément, her nephew, in turn became a young farmer by becoming co-manager on in January 2023.
Their organically grown vines are mostly located north of Montagnac in Camp Aucels, with the exception of reclaiming agricultural land in Castelnau de Guers in the heart of the Picpoul de Pinet appellation. These 12 hectares in production bear 12 different grape varieties. This great diversity allows Domaine Campaucels a thousand follies on the assemblies whose culmination results in wines of terroirs, varying from vintage to vintage.
