Tasting Notes

"This wine is the blend of 2 different terroirs. The first property was created by my father and located in Abzac, on a beautiful gravel plateau. The second is located in Artigues de Lussac, on one of the most beautiful clay-silty plateaus in Libourne, acquired in 2019." - Nicolas Lassagne

Vignobles Lassagne

Vignobles Lassagne

A family winery for three generations - In 1952, Paul Lassagne founded the vineyard and the first cellar of Chateau des Landes in Lussac Saint Emilion to create a 5 hectare vineyard.

Following expansion by his son Daniel, and his, Nicolas, it now encompasses 45 hectares and a number of neighbouring properties. Recently, they have been working towards organic conversion of the vineyards in order to validate these different working methods that have always been used.
