Vire-Clesse

The Vire-Clesse appellation is a relatively new appellation of Southern Burgundy, created in 1999 and retrospectively applicable to the 1998 vintage. The appellation is intended to single out a small region capable of producing white wines of quality and the domaine featured here, Andre Bonhomme, was at the forefront of its establishment.
