La Liviniere
Discover La Liviniere: A treasure in Languedoc Wines
La Laviniere is a wine appellation nestled in Languedoc, and was previously part of the Minervois appellation. This AOC (Appellation d'Origine Controlée) produces wines of exceptional quality thanks to its unique terroir, and the main grapes varieties are Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah, with Carignan and Cinsault. They make red wines of excellent reputation.
The vineyards benefit from a microclimate that balances the hot and arid summer months with cool temperatures at night, thanks to the higher altitude than the rest of the Minervois. The soil is composed of clay, limestone, sandstone and shale. At maturity, the grapes produce complex and lush wines aged for at least fifteen months.
It is a gem worth discovering if you are looking for the finest wines in the Languedoc.
