Aloxe Corton
Part of the Village appellation category of the Cote de Beaune sub-region, Aloxe-Corton (pronounced Alosse) produces mainly red wines, of a deep colour and personality. The white wines are rare. The appellation, created in 1938, is North of Beaune at an altitude between 200 and 300 meters above sea level, and the vineyard benefits from a great sun exposition.
