Lalande de Pomerol
Lalande de Pomerol is located on the bank of the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, north of the AOC of Pomerol. The main vines grown here is Merlot, however, some Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec also are grown here. This appellation gained its official AOC status in 1954.

The velvety texture and roundness comes from the dominance of Merlot, picked at the peak of ripeness. Beautifully balanced.
