With intense raspberry aroma on the nose, the mouth uncovers flavours of blackcurrant and roast coffee, with a hint of soft spices from the use of oak. The velvety texture and roundness comes from the dominance of Merlot, picked at the peak of ripeness. Beautifully balanced.

Located just a few vine rows from the superb 12th Century church in Lalande de Pomerol, the estate originally consisted of a gravelly 2-hectare plot in the commune of Lalande de Pomerol - It now totals 14 hectares. Eight of these are located in a single block surrounding a modern, functional cellar built in 1992. Careful winemaking methods and constant striving for quality have made Château Fleur de Jean Gué one of the finest wines in the Lalande de Pomerol appellation.
