Since then, every year, the eau-de-vie that comes out of the still is housed in oak barrels to produce, after a long aging in their century-old cellars, Armagnacs of great finesse. Armagnac is mostly made with a grape called Ugni Blanc, and is distilled only once and aged in a different wood, therefore more rustic and fuller than Cognac. This particular vintage is from 1984.

Generally purple in colour, this cru is marked on the nose by very spicy notes, with a fruit reminiscent of the redcurrant. Produced in an area making essentially Saint-Émilion, this wine benefits from all the expertise of the appellation.

100% Cabernet Franc, a perfect wine with a platter of charcuterie and cheese or even with red meat.

Beautiful presentation, with a very clear, deep, dark garnet red colour. The powerful, complex bouquet evokes ripe red and dark fruit (prunes, cherries), vanilla and toast, with a hint of smoke. Full bodied, round and fleshy in the mouth, with elegant tannins and beautiful fruity flavours. The finish is fresh with pleasant woody aromas.
