Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux: Chateau Les Bertrands Diamant

Situated in the beautiful South-West of France, Bordeaux is one of the country's largest wine-growing areas, covering over 125,000 hectares. Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux sits on the right bank of the Gironde estuary, where vineyards have been planted since Roman times. For generations, Blaye lived in the shadow of Bordeaux's more illustrious communes, such as Pauillac and Margaux across the water, and neighbouring Pomerol and Saint-Émilion. This lack of widespread recognition led to a reform of the region's appellations in 2009, when Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux was created to showcase its spectacular red and white wines. Today, the passionate growers who call Blaye home are working hard to distinguish themselves through quality.
