Oaked Red Wine

A carefully blended mixture of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Petit Verdot, giving a beautiful, rich elegant and smooth wine with a lot of fruit. A beautiful balance on the palate, combining notes of red fruit (blackcurrant) and roasted spices.

Round and structured. Pleasantly balanced red fruit notes on the nose, soft in the mouth with silky tannins and a lasting finish. This 'cuvée' is part of the tradition in at Chateau Gaudou.

This spicy and full bodied wine with ripe fruit aromas is produced in Malagas near Beziers. Aged for one year in French oak barrels. Try it with pork and lamb dishes in particular.

The last grape harvested by the Chateau, producing this full bodied tannic wine.
