Alsace Wine
The Alsace-Lorraine region of France is well-known for its wine and is considered one of the most important regions in the world. It has more than 250 producers and about 75% of the vineyards in Alsace are classified as Premier Cru or Grand Cru Classés.
The prestigious appellations that can be found here include: Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon.
