Full-bodied and powerful with a deep garnet robe and black fruit aromas including blackcurrant and blackberry.
The grapes for this cuvée came from vines of 65 years old and over. It was matured in oak barrels for 10 months.

|Vinification||The harvest takes place in mid-September. All the grapes are picked manually as the Beaujolais semi carbonic winemaking process requires that the bunches be whole. The grapes come from old vines of mainly 75 years or older. Pressing is after 12 days of vatting. Malo-lactic fermentation and maturing take place in (215 litre) oak barrels for 10 months.|
