The estate was created in 1999 from the family estate, enriched with several plots that they were able to develop over the Vintages. Proud to work the land, he is not afraid to present himself as a 'peasant who scratches the globe'! Ghislain's goal is to perpetuate this domain and later pass it on to his son, who is currently studying in the world of wine.
Region and Appellation Information
Burgundy

Region – Burgundy

The region of Burgundy, also known as Bourgogne, has a rich and opulent history. In the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, the Grand Duchy of Burgundy reached as far as Belgium and the North Sea, becoming renowned for its riches, culture, and wine. Building on vineyards planted by the Romans and later cultivated by medieval monks, the region established a winemaking legacy that endures today. Despite being geographically small, Burgundy produces some of the most expensive and sought-after wines in the world, its limestone soils lending them a uniquely appetising minerality that sets a Burgundy apart from its peers.

Appellation – Gevrey-Chambertin

A village in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, Gevrey-Chambertin produces exclusively red wine from Pinot Noir. Its wines are deep ruby in colour, firm-bodied, with velvety tannins and notes of red fruits, blackcurrant, and liquorice. One of the largest communes in the Côte de Nuits, with over two million bottles produced a year, it boasts 26 Premier Cru climats and nine Grands Crus - the finest concentrated in the south of the village.
