Tasting Notes

Old Grenache vines growing in idyllic conditions on a high terroir from Séguret, give this elegant, powerful wine that you can lay down. Very colourful and structured, on the palate, exuberant, powerful and warm.

From a plot in Séguret, at an altitude of 450m above sea level, the view on the Dentelles de Montmirail, the Mont Ventoux and the Mont Bayon is a breathtaking sight. C'est Beau La Haut comes from this terroir on clay and quartz, sunny and cool, balanced and mineral, where the winemaker's intervention is a challenge to nature.

Domaine La Perdriere

Owned by Vasco and Sonia, the Domaine La Perdriere (previously known as Domaine Chamfort) continues to produce top quality wines which were the hallmark of the Chamfort family. A range of truly fascinating wines (mostly reds) are made by this Domaine, including Vacqueyras, Sablet and Rasteau. Although their different Appellations are in close proximity to one another, the wines offer a hugely varied palate of different tastes, and they constantly win medals as well as ever-growing recognition.
