Tasting Notes

Domaine La Perdriere - 'Louis is the first name of the man who planted this plot of vines in the 1960s, and Louis is also the first name we gave to our young son. Like a thread stretched between two generations, this wine is based on another pairing: Grenache and Mourvèdre in equal parts. Harvested at their peak, vinified and aged in oak barrels, they make up a high-level Vacqueyras...' A great wine for laying down.

A range of truly fascinating wines (mostly reds) are made by this Domaine, including Vacqueyras, Sablet and Rasteau. Although their different Appellations are in close proximity to one another, the wines offer a hugely varied palate of different tastes, and they constantly win medals as well as ever-growing recognition.
